Shamima Mallam Hassam
Shamima Mallam Hassam has over 25 years of experience and has had the opportunity to work in both the public and private sectors at senior management levels. She is currently the Managing Director of Trident Trust Company Mauritius Ltd, part of the Trident Trust Group, which operates in more than 25 countries. She is a Director of Trident Trust Company Mauritius Ltd and also serves as a Director on a number of Global Business Companies, including private equity funds and corporates operating in various sectors such as financial services, healthcare, FMCG, logistics, education, and trading companies.
She is currently the Chairperson of Mauritius Finance, the leading industry association representing the key stakeholders of the financial services industry. She holds a Maitrise en Sciences Économiques and a Licence en Sciences Économiques from the Université d'Aix-en-Provence (France). She also completed the General Management Program at ESSEC Business School (France) in 2013.
